Chamomilla
Remedy

Chamomilla

Chamomilla is one of the most important remedies in classical homeopathy for extreme sensitivity, irritability, restlessness, and intolerance to pain. It is particularly well known for teething complaints, infantile colic, and acute conditions where the person seems unable to bear suffering. The intensity of the pain often appears disproportionate to the condition itself.

Usage notes

Homeopathic remedy selection is based on symptoms. To consider a remedy, the individual's current complaints, symptoms, and overall symptom picture should be evaluated as a whole.

In classical homeopathy, remedies are not routinely used solely to prevent disease or for possible future conditions. Remedy selection is based on the symptoms that are present and the individual's unique symptom picture.

For this reason, each remedy should be considered according to its characteristic and distinguishing symptoms.
